Available in clear lacquer or silver plate. The weight of a regular Bill Pfund valve cap is approximately 0.6 oz., with the heavy cap weighing approximately 1.2 oz. Caps come supplied with o-rings.

These heavy valve caps can change many aspects of the performance of the trumpet. Typically, they are used with a very thin o-ring that is inserted on the threaded bottom of the valve casing. The heavy valve caps can change response, tone quality and intonation. Suggestions for use are included with each valve cap order.

Note: these valve caps fit only Bill Pfund trumpets.
