Although none of the Bill Pfund trumpets have a really bright sound, this combination of metals gives the lightest and brightest sound of all the combinations. Good for lead playing, solo playing, and any other use that suits the player. The various combinations of materials used in this family of trumpets make it possible for all the Bb trumpets to have similar feel and playing characteristics while featuring different tone color possibilities. These trumpets have a consistent response and quality of sound from the bottom to the top end with particular ease in the high register.
